connection (or from inside the district on a non-district device.

Blackboard Test and Homework:
To aid in communication
between home and school,
information regarding tests and homework can now be found in Blackboard.
BlackBoard @ Home (File Viewers): For access to files from home, you may need to install viewers if you do not have programs like Microsoft office installed. The resource is here for a links page for various viewers.
Boosters Web Site: the Indian Hill Boosters provide outstanding extracurricular support for Indian Hill students K-12. This site contains more information about this organization, including contact and membership information, as well as meeting dates.
Calendar: All Middle School and District activities are listed on this calendar. It is viewable as well as printable. You may also access other Indian Hill school calendars (including athletics) from this link or subscribe to calendars for updates. You are also able to subscribe to groups for email updates, or to upload events to your own personal calendar. Curriculum: The Fine Arts, Health, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Technology, and Visual Art curricula are currently viewable on line.

Directory: The school directory lists the email addresses and school telephone numbers of all teachers and administrators in the district.
Indian Hill Foundation/Alumni The Indian Hill Public Schools Foundation establishes a vehicle for personal and corporate contributions that builds an endowment and focus on the future.

Online Payments: NEW: use this link (http://www.spsezpayindianhill.com) to provide online payments to the school for fees and lunch balances. For detailed instructions on how to use the EZpay system, follow this link.
Progress Check (Progress Book): The Parent Access Portal of ProgressBook will allow you to view grades, grade detail about assignments, and attendance. Letters with account access information (login IDs and passwords) are sent home at the beginning of the year. Parents have a separate account from students and may setup email alerts. However, with this system you must login online to actually view grades (for security purposes). Detailed instructions for parents about logging in, changing your password, linking multiple students to the parent account and viewing grades and attendance may be found here. Instructions for students about access may be found here.
Research: The Middle School offers a variety of resources to aid students in doing research away from school, including the Research Guide which explains the Big 6 research process, online resource databases available for your home use, and grade and class specific research links.
Sophos AntiVirus Information: If you believe you may have been sent a virus or a possible virus hoax please investigate these sites for more information.
Student Handbook: This is an online version of the handbook that comes home with your student at the beginning of the year. Information contained in the handbook is meant to serve as a resource for students and parents alike. Students are responsible for reading the handbook to familiarize themselves with policies and procedures. Parents are encouraged to discuss the information with their students. This home-school partnership will result in creating a school environment that promotes individual student growth and responsibility. March 9, 2009 Bullying Policy Revision details.
Transportation: In the upcoming school year, to request alternate transportation, the forms for this will be located exclusively on our transportation website for your access (these forms are no longer sent home in the August mailing). Simply fill out the appropriate forms and return them following the instructions. If you are unable to access the forms, contact either the school's office (272-4642), or Transportation (272-4531).
