Principal's Message

Dear parents and community members,

Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year at Indian Hill Elementary School. The teachers and I are awaiting the first day of school and are busy preparing for a successful school year. I am eager to meet the students and families. When you combine our highly skilled staff with our state-of-the-art learning environments, it is no wonder our children are so successful and that they love school. There is excitement in the air with all the possibilities that a new school year brings!

I am overjoyed about the start of the school year and working with the amazing staff and community of Indian Hill. I was formerly the Principal at Springdale Elementary and Curriculum Resource Coordinator at Ponte Vedra Palm Valley/Rawlings Elementary in FL. Previous to these positions, I taught Kindergarten and 4th Grade in Florida and Northern Kentucky. I have a Masters in Educational Leadership from Xavier University, a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Northern Kentucky University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Kentucky.

As the school year starts, please save the date for the following school events.

* Monday, August 12th, 8:00 am - 9:15 am: Meet the Teacher Morning

* Classroom visit to "Meet the Teacher." Classroom teachers will be in their classrooms to meet and greet you and your child. Please abide by the 9:15 a.m. ending time as teachers have faculty meetings promptly at 9:15 a.m.

* Thursday, August 15th, 8:55 am - 3:30 pm: First Day of School

* Thursday, August 29th, 6:00 pm: Meet the Teacher Informational Evening (Parent only event)

One of the most powerful partnerships is that between a school and the child's home. I look forward to seeing you and your child soon and celebrating the many successes. It is a privilege to provide the leadership at this outstanding school!
