Visual Arts

The Art program at Indian Hill Primary serves our kindergarten through second grade students, providing a meaningful foundation for lifelong learning. The creative experiences offered are a vital component of each student’s growth as an educated, responsive and creative thinker.
One means of seeing how art impacts our students’ attitudes about self, school, and the world is by coming to the art room for a visit! Art experiences there allow the students to more fully explore their potential. They are encouraged to communicate through a wide range of visual means and to creatively approach ideas, processes, decisions and challenges. During these primary years of school, our students are introduced to a wide range of art media, varied art forms and the opportunity to develop skills and confidence.
