This year, when Loni Jackson, fourth grade teacher, read this book, her students noticed an error within text when the author talked about transportation in a limousine then switched to an airplane.

With good humor, the author corresponded with the students about his error, which had not been pointed out to him in 20 years by an editor or reader. Later, he acknowledged the careful reading of Mrs. Jackson’s students on Facebook.

Clearly, Mrs. Jackson had these fourth grade students highly engaged in the lesson – way to go!
