CHOPTAG Plant Swap 2004

On May 8th, 2004, CHOPTAG joined once again to pawn off tomato plants on each other (and of course eat some yummy homemade food).  We all grow more than can fit in the garden so each year we get together and try to find new homes for our plants since we don't like to see them go into the compost.  The biggest challenge is leaving with less plants than you brought.  This year I think I broke even.....  Gave a handful away and brought a handful back.  Among the ones I acquired that I am most looking forward to are Brandywine Cherry (from Gary), Red Zebra (from Steve), and Angelo's Red (from Dave).  Jerry provided me with Mortgage Lifter (Radiator Charlie).  It should be a great season!
