Indian Hill High School (IHHS) is pleased to announce the search for the next leader of the Braves Swim Team is over. On October 15 the Indian Hill Board of Education approved Matt Harrison as the new head coach. Coach Harrison comes to Indian Hill High School with more than 15 years of experience in coaching and mentoring young athletes.

“I am honored to be the next head coach of this great and storied program, and I am very excited to work with such a talented group of young student-athletes,” said Harrison. “I can promise we will have a team of which the school and the community will be proud!”

Coach Harrison is an age-group coach with the Cincinnati Marlins. Before that, he was an assistant coach at Moeller High School for 13 years and Blue Ash YMCA for six years, where he was a recipient of the Age Group Coach of the Year Award in 2016 from the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati. Coach Harrison was also the head age group coach at Countryside YMCA for three years, as well as the head coach in 2017, leading his team to a Top 10 finish at YMCA Nationals.

“Coach Harrison is a proven leader, and will make an excellent addition to Indian Hill Athletics,” said Indian Hill Athletic Director Matt Haskamp. “We look forward to seeing our swim program continue to grow under his direction.”
