Welcome to Indian Hill, Class of 2032!

Backpacks loaded with crayons and pencils; construction paper name tags fastened securely to shirts; smiling, bright eyes of students ... and some tear-filled ones for parents – each detail of the first day of kindergarten is a special moment to capture. It is the beginning of your child’s journey to fulfill the dream he/she has for the future, and at the Indian Hill School District, our #IHPromise to you is to be a partner in education to make that dream a reality.

On this first day of kindergarten, we wanted to welcome the Class of 2032 in a special way. From high-fives to fist-bumps, we greeted each new Brave with a smile. Some families even allowed me to make a “school-bus stop” to say hello and personally welcome their student to class. What a treat for me to get to shake hands and greet our future leaders as they begin their formal educational experience! What an honor for all members of our #BRAVETeam to be entrusted with helping these young scholars grow and develop into the graduates we will be celebrating in 13 short years! The time will fly. Let us all appreciate these special Brave moments, in the moment.

Welcome, Class of 2032 – we are so excited to have you as Braves!

In service to our children,
Kirk Koennecke
Superintendent
