WCPO to have a new Brave face this summer

Indian Hill High School (IHHS) congratulates junior Rama Sardar for earning one of three coveted positions as an intern with Cincinnati ABC affiliate WCPO. The WCPO Careers In Media (CIM) internship program is an eight-week long summer course designed to provide hands-on experience to minority high school students who have an interest in the media industry. Media business professionals and college interns facilitate leadership development and soft skills training for the CIM interns throughout the summer.

“I am excited and grateful for this learning opportunity,” said Sardar. “I sincerely thank Mr. Dennis Dupps and Indian Hill High School for continued support and encouragement. I look forward to returning this fall as a proud senior with loads of experience, new skills, and stories to share with my mentor, Mr. Dupps, and my fellow Braves.”

High school juniors from all over Greater Cincinnati are invited to apply for the 2019 CIM internship program; student selection was based on an application, essay, and interview process. In addition to the WCPO internship program, Sardar was also selected to represent Cincinnati, Ohio as a National Youth Correspondent to the 2019 Washington Journalism and Media Conference at George Mason University this July.
