2020 Class of the Athletic Hall of Fame celebrated!

IH Hall of Fame Induction

The Indian Hill Boosters celebrated the induction of the 2020 Class of the Athletic Hall of Fame honoring the accomplishments of Josh Cooper (Class of 1998) and Elizabeth Heinbach (Class of 2012) Friday, January 17, 2020, during halftime of the Braves varsity basketball game at the Indian Hill High School gymnasium. Following the induction, all Braves were invited to a reception.

“As humbling as is it is to think that 100 years from now I'll still be recognized in our Hall of Fame, it means even more that my wife and kids were here to see it,” said Inductee Josh Cooper. “I've had the unique fortune of playing in the college football national championship and we've won some world BBQ championships, but it’s the high school games, teammates and coaches that you remember the most. Playing football, basketball, and track at Indian Hill taught me some of the greatest lessons of my life. And, of course, the more time that goes by, the better athlete I become ... just ask my poor wife (who’s had to watch way too many old game tapes).”

During his tenure a student-athlete at Indian Hill High School, Cooper was an outstanding football, basketball, and track star, and Elizabeth Heinbach was an outstanding cross country runner, swimmer, and track star.

“I feel so honored to have been selected for the Hall of Fame,” said Inductee Elizabeth Heinbach. “I'm thankful for the academic and athletic opportunities I had as a Brave. I’m grateful for all of the support of my family, friends, coaches, and so many more, along with Kristin Innis and the Indian Hill Boosters for organizing this event.”
