COVID-19 January 13 Update: District, IHMS & IHES Positive Cases

IH Logo

The Indian Hill School District was informed that an Indian Hill Elementary School (IHES) student, an Indian Hill Middle School (IHMS) student, an IHES staff member, and a District staff member all tested positive for COVID-19 and are in isolation. Building leaders determined the positive IHES student was in Close Contact with one other IHES student; and the IHMS student was in Close Contact with one IHES student. Those families have been notified their students are required to quarantine. The District nurse and building leaders determined there are no Close Contacts for either of the positive staff cases.

Due to federal privacy laws, we are not permitted to provide the names of the individuals.

Please note: For this and future communications, due to updates in quarantine guidelines, the District is reporting Close Contacts that impact reporting to campus during the school day. Any families of students who are impacted by quarantine restrictions for athletics or activities are notified individually prior to the distribution of District communications.

If you find out you are COVID-19 positive, please call our COVID-19 Hotline to report your case at (513) 272-9698.

It is our responsibility to inform you as members of our Indian Hill School District community about all reports of positive COVID-19 test results that directly impact our District, and we will continue to share these important updates as needed.

Sincerely,

Kirk Koennecke
Superintendent
Indian Hill School District
