Indian Hill continues plan monitoring during Thanksgiving break

IH Logo

We currently operate within Plan A. The Board of Education will meet via Zoom for the regularly scheduled November 24 meeting and will evaluate the most recent available data to discuss plans for the return after the Thanksgiving holiday. In the event that COVID-19 conditions dictate a change to our operations prior to our return from the Thanksgiving holiday, we will make an announcement on Friday, November 27.

We ask all families and staff members to plan now. All students and staff should take necessary items home, including materials and equipment that would be critical to remote learning, when departing from campus for the break.

Winter sports will commence as planned as of this date.

As a reminder, our travel advisory quarantine expectations continue. Any students or staff members who travel during the Thanksgiving break to or through affected states or countries must quarantine for 14 days prior to a return to campus.

We ALL would like for our students to be both safe and in school as much as possible. We are urging families to please follow all state and local guidelines for gatherings during the Thanksgiving break. We want to do all we can to prevent spread in our schools after the break. We appreciate your continued partnership to keep our campus safe. Please remain vigilant and practice the safety protocols we have in place. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving break.

In service to our children,

Kirk Koennecke
Superintendent
Indian Hill School District
