Being a Brave educator means creating a learning environment where students have opportunities to engage in meaningful, relevant, and innovative curriculum while developing a lifelong love for science.
To me, the #IHPromise means that as a group of educators we are committed to creating a school culture that promotes the well-being and education of every child beyond just the curriculum standards established by the state.
I love welcoming the students in the hallways when they arrive each morning, but in particular High Five Fridays at the Middle school are my favorite moments. It’s fun to connect with nearly every student in the building, whether I teach them or not, and greet them with a smile and high five.
