The Indian Hill School District celebrates the Indian Hill Middle School students who participated in the Future City Competition on January 11 at Columbus State Community College. Braves earned third place overall in the Ohio Region and won two special awards including Best Use of Recreation and Best Use of Transportation. Team members included Kiran Athota, Sammy Glassman, Anup Gade, and Zoe Lee.
“Our students were creative, innovative, and fantastic problem solvers,” said Indian Hill teacher and Future City mentor Amanda Sopko. “They set a record score for Indian Hill in the Future City Competition. I am so proud of their teamwork and creativity!”
“We absolutely love this opportunity for our students to use their communication, collaboration, creativity, critical thinking, and citizenship skills in a whole new way,” said Indian Hill Middle School Principal Lauren Gentene. “We could not be prouder of all they accomplished!”
