Indian Hill High School Class of 2022 senior Tejas Pisati and sophomore RJ Poffenberger earned the title of OHSAA Doubles State Champions on Saturday, May 28, at the Lindner Tennis Center in Mason, Ohio.

“I am extremely proud of both of these two young men,” said Indian Hill Athletic Director Brian Phelps. “They were dominant on the court, and they were so much fun to watch. They both deserve to be called State Champions!”

“This team has shown grit and determination all season long,” said Phelps. “From day one, the goal was to be state champions, and on Sunday, May 29, they accomplished their goal. I am so proud of this group of players, coaches and parents. They deserve to realize what it means to be a state champion. It was a memorable Memorial Day weekend for the Indian Hill tennis program and the Indian Hill community, including our outstanding team of coaches: Wade Ward, Michael Piergalski, and Adam Wolter.”

The Indian Hill Board of Education plans to recognize all of the state champion tennis players at the upcoming regularly scheduled meeting June 28.
