Indian Hill students prepare for State Science Olympiad Competition

The Indian Hill School District will be cheering on students from both Indian Hill Middle School and Indian Hill High School who each earned a spot to compete at the Science Olympiad State Competition on April 10. The students advanced after an excellent performance during the Science Olympiad Regional Competition held virtually on March 6.

Indian Hill Middle School (IHMS)
One team from IHMS went up against 33 teams in the regionals, and they placed 15th. The IHMS students who placed up to 15th place in their individual events included:

Indian Hill High School (IHHS)
Two teams from IHHS competed against 47 teams in the regionals, and they placed 11th and 24th. The IHHS students who placed up to 10th place in their individual events included:

“We are so proud of these students who navigated unusual circumstances in a virtual environment to come out of the regional event ready to head to state,” said Indian Hill High School Biology and Watershed teacher Kaitlin Shurts. “We can’t wait to see how they do at the state level, and we will be cheering them on.”
