SEVEN consecutive years … and counting!
Once again, the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) has designated the Indian Hill School District as one of the best in the nation for music education. The NAMM Foundation awarded Indian Hill a Best Communities for Music Education for 2021, making the public announcement April 13. This is the seventh consecutive year Braves have brought home this honor, and Indian Hill was one of 686 districts in the country to earn this recognition this year.
“It is just outstanding that our music education program is, again, being named one of the best in the country during the very week our student-performers take the stage for our live Indian Hill High School performance of ‘Hello, Dolly!’ – our Pow Wow musical is one of the highlights of our incredible, comprehensive program,” said Indian Hill Superintendent Kirk Koennecke. “We want to congratulate our dedicated, award-winning faculty for creating and maintaining this level of educational experience for our students, and we want to thank our community for the consistent support we have received within our arts. Finally, we sincerely thank the NAMM Foundation for recognizing our District’s enduring excellence.”
The Indian Hill School District’s unparalleled music education program begins with the District’s youngest scholars at Indian Hill Primary School and Indian Hill Elementary School. More than 400 students perform with orchestra, band, and choirs at Indian Hill Middle School and Indian Hill High School.
