Indian Hill High School STEM program ‘Distinguished’ nationally

The Indian Hill School District is pleased to announce that for the second consecutive year Project Lead The Way (PLTW) has recognized Indian Hill High School as a “PLTW Distinguished School” for science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) learning. Indian Hill High School is one of only 204 high school programs nationally to receive this distinction for the 2020-2021 school year.

“We are thrilled with the growth of the comprehensive engineering program we offer to our students in partnership with Great Oaks,” said Indian Hill School District Superintendent Kirk Koennecke. “Our commitment to STEM education by increasing student access, engagement, and achievement through our PLTW programs is unlocking their potential, and we know it will only continue to evolve.”

During the 2020-2021 school year, the Indian Hill High School Robotics team won the Robotics Online Challenge sponsored by Google after developing a robot to help combat the spread of COVID-19 within school facilities, and they competed in the in the World Vex Competition.
