Indian Hill High School student selected for Cincinnati Youth Jazz Orchestra
George ZaringIndian Hill High School (IHHS) congratulates sophomore student-musician George Zaring for his selection in the University of Cincinnati’s (UC) College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) Cincinnati Youth Jazz Orchestra as a drummer. Zaring is one of 15 musicians selected from across the region to participate in the ten-week program.

“I’m excited for the opportunity to learn and perform with this group of talented jazz musicians,” said Zaring about his selection.

According to the University of Cincinnati website, the Cincinnati Youth Jazz Orchestra (CYJO) offers a high-level challenge in a big band setting and places emphasis on developing professional musical, improvisational and performance skills.
