Dr. Melissa Stewart, Chief Academic OfficerBoard of Education Office[email protected]X: @IHTeachandLearn My #IHPromise – keep students central to my work, striving for the best for them. Life is an adventure. In my life I have jumped out of an airplane, biked down mountains, and trekked through forests … but – even with that personal resume – I am the most excited when I have the opportunity to connect with our students. Growing children isn’t just my profession; it is my passion. The Indian Hill Exempted Village School District is where I feel most alive.
Being a Brave is being a part of a community that believes in excellence, relationships, engagement, and improvement. The essence of being a Brave can be captured the moment you recognize the IH symbol on a shirt – even somewhere unexpected, like the Grand Canyon (it happened) – and immediately knowing that you are connected, with pride and joy, to that person.
Each and every day, I arrive to the school district with a promise to keep students central to my work, striving for the best for them.
We are helping to build their story; we are helping to shape their life … and more than anything – my wish for them is that it is an exciting adventure.
