Auditor of State Award

The Indian Hill School District is pleased to announce that the District and CFO/Treasurer Mick Davis earned the Ohio Auditor of State Award for 2023, and welcomed Ohio Auditor of State Keith Faber to campus Thursday, May 9 to present the award in-person. The award notes, “The citizens you represent are well-served by your effective and accountable financial practices.”

“The Auditor of State Award is only issued to public entities which meet rigorous reporting requirements during the State’s financial audit; we are extremely proud of this outstanding accomplishment by CFO/Treasurer Mick Davis and his team – earned year over year,” said Indian Hill Board of Education President Nolan Marx. “On behalf of our Board of Education, I offer a sincere message of congratulations on this achievement. Accurate and transparent financial reporting to our taxpayers is paramount to how we conduct business as an organization, aligned with what our supportive community both expects and deserves.”

“This award is possible due to the professionalism and unwavering attention to detail on behalf of my team in the business office, and I want to take this opportunity to thank them,” said Indian Hill School District CFO/Treasurer Mick Davis. “Our Board of Education and administration is committed to conservative fiscal management, transparency, and strategic investment in our #IHPromise strategic plan. We will continue, as an organization, to deliver.”

According to the Ohio Auditor of State, less than eight percent of all audited entities qualify for this recognition; Indian Hill has received the Auditor of State Award under the leadership of CFO/Treasurer Davis eight times.
