The Indian Hill School District celebrates outstanding achievement in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) learning at Indian Hill High School. IHHS was recommended this May for recognition by the Ohio Department of Education & Workforce and the Ohio STEM Learning Network (OSLN), achieving the status of best in the state for STEM learning after receiving the DEW/OSLN STEM Designation. Indian Hill High School joins Indian Hill Elementary School and Indian Hill Primary School in this elite recognition, after
both buildings were recognized as best in Ohio May of 2023.
“This is an incredible accomplishment by our world-class faculty and staff,” said Indian Hill School District CEO/Superintendent Kirk Koennecke. “The Ohio Department of Education & Workforce OSLN STEM Designation process is rigorous, involving examination by experts in STEM learning. Our award-winning faculty stood out among the elite not only in Ohio, but also across the country in STEM opportunities.”
This celebration follows the Indian Hill School District’s
February announcement of the district’s designation by AASA, The School Superintendents Association and JASON Learning as one of only six elite learning institutes recognized in the country for STEM instruction in grades kindergarten through 12.
