Memorial Day remembrance of Richard M Weaver (IHHS 1967)
Richard M Weaver is the only graduate of IHHS to die in active duty.  Since he had no family of his own, his immediate family asked the Indian Hill Schools to be his family.  His medals and dog tags are on display in the HS counseling office and his classmates funded a lasting memorial to him.  With the completion of the campus buildings, that memorial is now in its new home, appropriately under the American flag at the center of our campus, and entrances to the Board of Education and Indian Hill Foundation offices.

THANKS to all who participated in the
13th annual Conquer the Hill!
With 388 registered participants, you helped raise over $15,000 for the Braves Helping Braves fund.   Photo gallery here...

See you next year!!

MAKE A DONATION
The Indian Hill Foundation's mission is to innovate, accelerate and enrich the learning and engagement in our classrooms and beyond and strengthen the connections between the district and the community.  The Foundation achieves its purpose by building philanthropic resources in partnership with alumni, parents, students and the community.

We have the opportunity to ask "What if?"  "What's possible?"   "What's next?" for our district and the mission to fund the answers.

  • PS teachers energized by Columbia Workshop training

    teacher workshop

How you help a program go from “pilot” to implementation…

Thanks to your support, the Foundation was able to team up with the Primary School last school year to test the training from Columbia University Reading and Writing Workshop for PS staff to enhance their literacy instruction.  Jim Nichols, PS Principal states, “After receiving such positive feedback from staff, the district has maintained this high quality professional development in the 2018-19 school year.”  You helped innovative teacher development become a regular part of the district plan by giving it a chance to be tested.  That is bold philanthropy in action.
