Counselor
Welcome to the Indian Hill Primary School Counseling page! As the counselor here at IHPS, I work together with teachers, parents and community resources in order to help our students reach their full potential. The elementary years are a time when children begin to develop a sense of competence and confidence as learners. During this time it is important for children to establish healthy friendships, learn to problem solve and develop their own character.
Through individual and small group counseling and also through teaching classroom character lessons, I work to bolster the social and emotional growth of our students. The services I provide are intended to remove barriers to learning so that students can fully access their school day. Sometimes a student needs more support than what can be provided in a school setting and in such cases, I am happy to refer families to outside therapists. My primary goal is your child’s success. If you have questions or concerns about your child’s well-being please don’t hesitate to contact me. I look forward to hearing from you.
